SCHOLARSHIPS FOR RARE DISEASE SUFFERERS PATIENTS
You have the secret dream of becoming an actor or a writer, and you don’t know how to do it or where to start?
Uno sguardo raro launches the first two scholarships for the academic year 2020/2021, together with the acting school Fabbrica Artistica di Roma directed by Rolando Ravello and Massimiliano Franciosa.
The scheduled attendance of the acting course is once a week for a period of 3 hours.
The scheduled attendance of the creative writing course is once a week for a period of 3 hours.
APPLICANTS’ SELECTION
I n order to apply for the Acting Scholarship, you must provide a self-presentation video, up to 2 minutes long; for the Creative Writing Scholarship, a written self-presentation and your rationale to participate. Both must be sent no later than 20 December 2019 to info@unosguardoraro.org
During the selection of applicants and in the educational approach, Uno Sguardo Raro will be supported by the great experience of UNIAMO Federazione Italiana Malattie Rare onlus.
THE COMPETITION WILL HAVE 3 STAGES:
GATHERING
Gathering of all the applications and following selection in collaboration with UNIAMO FIMR onlus. Communication with the selected candidates.
SELECTIONS
The selected applicants will be announced during the final Ceremony of the Festival, which will host them for the evening.
MEETINGS
Preparatory meetings with the applicants, in order for them to be better placed in the educational path.
BOTH CLASSES’ PURPOSE
T he purpose is to encourage people with a rare disease to explore their own creative and expressive qualities. Acting and writing can be important self-definition’s tools and an important tool for a better awareness of one’s own abilities, as well as a step towards integration into an active group.
